I have a “54″ 3100. However the VIN # is H550005240. This plus a few other clues makes me think this is really a 55 The “000″ after the 55 is throwing me as (per my research) I should expect a letter to indicate the plant where it was built. You have a 1955 1st series. The truck is a 1/2 ton 3100 Series (H), a 55 1st series (55-almost identical to 1954), made in Fremont, CA (O) and was the 5,240 truck off the line (005240). Hope this helps and welcome to the site. Reply ↓
